  • Administrator editting options...

As an administrator, when I edit other peoples' posts, I don't want it to say that it has been edited at the bottom in italics. Is there a way to disable this feature for the admins?

    Thanks in advance,

    Richard.

    Of course!

Go to your AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager, edit the Administrator group, and under the General Permissions section set the Show edited by note on edited messages? option to 'No'. If any Administrators are members of additional groups, go to the Usergroup Options section and set the Allow Users to have Member Groups option to 'No'.

Keep in mind that any post which already has the "Edited by" notation will not be affected by this, only newly edited ones.
