Attachments posting in wrong order?

Not sure about that. Members put a 100kb image in the first box, and a 5mb zip in the second, it always displays the zip first after uploading. It may be if they are both the same mime type. -
I think Freddie said it will add them in the order they finish uploading. So if you upload several at once, and #3 is smaller than #1, then it may finish uploading first causing it to be displayed first.Leave a comment:

I've noticed it as well. I'm not sure how VB handles it, but I have a small hack that reads the first file in a thread, and if it's a image display it as a thumbnail on another page.
If I load in two files, with the first file in the box a image, it doesn't reconize it as such, and seems to display zip files first. The only way I can set the order of each attachment is to load in each attachment, wait till it's finished, then load in the next one.Leave a comment:

Attachments posting in wrong order?
Say I'm composing a thread and I'm going to attach ten photos. So in my thread I list photo #1-10 and give a summary of them. Then I open the attachment manager and upload the photos in the order they should be, but when it finishes uploading them they're in a different order.
Solution/Problem?
Thanks,
Dave
