    issue with Admincp/index.php

    I don't know what happened in the past few days, but I had 2 php/sql programs stop working on me when trying to go to Admin pages that require logins.

    I can click ALL the links on the left and they load fine, just the main index doesn't work, and it also won't display the new / current version either....
    ???

    My other programs' fix was:
    changing : $eqdkp_com_version = get_eqdkp_version();
    to: $eqdkp_com_version = EQDKP_VERSION;

    in the \admin\index.php

    is there a fix like this for the VBulletin?

    the main index wont load, and it doesnt show me the version at the top either anymore....help please!
    thanks.

    This means your server is having problems accessing verision.vbulletin.com for the version info. You need to contact your host about this.

      Do you know what is causing this?
      is it a bug in the new version of cpanel, or something...

        Most likely they have a firewall that is blocking this connection. Really only your host can answer this.

          Do you know any good web hosts that don't pulll stunts like this?

          & that use Cpanel as the control panel.

            I doubt it's a 'stunt'. Just ask them about this and see if they will make an execption for version.vbulletin.com.
