I had someone SPAM (at least I consider it SPAM) a vb3 board I run by posting the same message in four different forums. I deleted three of them and moved the fourth to a forum where it was better suited. That got me thinking about another scenario. Let's say I want to temporarily remove a thread or post from public view, so the Super Mods can decide if it should be permanently removed, or put back into public view. What's the best way to do that? My initial thought is I would need to create a separate forum that is only visible to the Admins and Super Mods. We'd move the thread or post there. However, I only see a way to delete individual posts, but not to move them. Am I missing something, or can individual posts only be deleted? Is there a better way to do what I'm trying to do?

You'd have to split the post from the thread and move it to another forum.
