  • Reinstalling VB

Recently I upgraded to 3.0.6 and forgot to import the XML files. Obviously this meant the features that came with 3.0.6 were not installed either. Today I have upgraded to 3.0.7 and more problems seem to be occuring - most likely due to what I have done previously.

Would reinstalling be the best option? And if so, how would I go about that (basically)

Or could I simply reinstall 3.0.6 and then install 3.0.7? Again; if so, how would I basically go about doing that?

Try this. Upload the 3.0.7 .xml files to the install directory. Then upload tools.php script in the DO_NOT_UPLOAD folder of the zip file to your Admin CP directory. Now reimport each of the xml files. Immediately remove tools.php when you are done.

I can reupload languages and styles, but I cannot find the location to reimport the other two xml files (settings and admin help). Which part of the control panel has the controls to do this? (I have uploaded the latest tools.php also)

You use tools.php to reimport these.

            Hi steve,

I tried this to fix my board. All I get is a blank page still all around.

Hi Floris, that issue has been resolved and tools.php is now running.

                Thanks

Is where a different issue is.
