  • How do I?: Deny certain groups using style variables?

    Hi there

    I would like to deny the access of certain groups to some sections using the style variables, what do I mean?

    For example I have an extra link in my navbar but I don't want that normal registred users to see it, but I want that other special groups to see it.

    But I don't know how do archive it or even how to proper do it.

    I hope you can help me, and thanks in advance.

    See Ya

    PD: Previous thread in and nobody helps out there

    If you want to exclude a link, do this...

    before the link, add
    <if condition="$bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == Y >

    and at the end of the link (after the </a>), add a </if>

    Change Y to the group you want to see the link.

    If you want to exclude just one group, do:

    <if condition="$bbuserinfo[usergroupid] != Y">

    Its like basic PHP

    Hopefully that helps
