Admins not able to change users Avatars

1. Log in as an admin to change a users avatar
2. Pull up said users record
3. Click the change avatar button
4. Screen flashes "Saved User _____ Successfully" then goes to Custom Avatar screen
5. Choose file and click Save
6. Blank screen appears with only the vBulletin copyright tag line

that's it?

And the avatar doesn't change after that?

Are any file upload functions working on your forum? Post attachments for example.

I found the answer in an old post that said it was a workaround for 2.x, we're running 3.0.3. I had to go and log out, delete any cookies and then log back in.
