    Problems with dates on calendar

    Hi

Each time I add an event to my forum calendar I use the "Ranged Event" option. I have tried to add an event today and is as follows:

    Event Date
    Start February 14 2005 Time 12:30am
    End February 19 2005 Time 10:30pm

But, when you view the forthcoming events at the bottom of the forum it doesn't state the days 14.2.05 - 19.2.05 like it used to, it now states :15.2.05

I have tried using the "Recurring Event" option too using the same information:

    Event Date
    Start February 14 2005 Time 12:30am
    End February 19 2005 Time 10:30pm
Recurrence Pattern - Daily/Every One Day

But like above, when you view the forthcoming events at the bottom of the forum it doesn't state the days 14.2.05 - 19.2.05 like it used to, it now states 15.2.05

I've used this feature so many times that I just can't understand why it's not working in the way it has always worked, either that or I'm having a blonde day so any help would be appreciated.

    Joy

As far as I can tell, it is probably either a limitation or a bug. It doesn't show the dates of a ranged event, but it looks like it shows it only on a day by day basis.

      Hi

      Thanks for your help

I've tried adding an event again and it's still not working correctly. It doesn't show the ranged event dates at all. Any idea's?

Would it have anything to do with the version I'm using? I'm currently running 3.0.5 and I've just tested adding a "ranged event" on a board that's currently running 3.0.6 and it seems to be working fine. Is it a bug with 3.0.5?

          Hi

I upgraded to 3.0.6 last night and I'm still having a problem with the calendar dates. I've added three "Test Events" - I have added a Ranged Event, Single All Day Event and a Recurring Event.

I have included the Start/End dates but instead of it showing Test Event: 14-02-05 it just shows Test Event:

As I use the calendar on a daily basis I'd really appreciate any help you can give me please?

Try this. Reupload the original vbulletin-style.xml file from the zip file to your install directory. Make sure you upload this in ASCII and overwrite the one on the server. Then import this file in the 'Upload' section of the Style Manager.

Next create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then change to this style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

                Hi Steve,

I did exactly as you said but no luck I'm afraid The dates are still displaying exactly as mentioned below.

Have you installed any hacks (including portals) or added any code to the footer, headinclude, header or phpinclude templates? If not, fill out a support ticket at:

Be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP. If you have installed hacks or added code, then remove the hacks first then check and see if you still have this problem. If so, leave the default vB files in place and fill out the support request. Please also include a complete description of the problem.
