I have a couple of questions about how this Mail Que system works. I don't have a lot of traffic to my board but 1 particular thread has 63 members subscribed to it all with instant email notification. If the mail que system is enabled all members recieve their emails correctly, but some are delayed as long as 15 hours! (i've tested this to varify) If I disable the mail que system, the emails are sent instantly but when you make a new post and click submit, it takes forever to go to the thread to show your post and sometimes, just times out (even though the data does indeed post) Is their any way to enable the mail que system but increase the frequency in which it sends the batches? what factors does vbulletin use to determine when to send the next batch and the next when this system is on?

so as soon as it has reached 10 (or whatever is specified) emails in the que, it sends them out? do we have any idea what order it goes through the list usernames to send to? like for example, if i have 63 members to mail to the first 60 will go pretty fast as they would be 6 batches of 10 but the three remaining would be in que until more emails are sent to que. My test usernames are at the beginning of the list, so if it is starting from the bottom this could be why my test names are being delayed.Comment

There is no way of knowing which emails will be sent first when you use the mail queue system.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
