Generic new thread page?

Apologies of this question is elsewhere (or on vb.org), but I did try to search and I just can't seem to find it.

Is there an option (or is there a hack) to have a generic "add thread" page, where you can select the forum you are posting too (as you type your new thread)?

It would seem easier than having to go to a forum and then select "new thread"???

There is no such page in the default software. You would need a custom script. For help with this I recommend you post on www.vbulletin.org.
