unable to view topic older than 30 days

Topic older than 30 days disappears... : i select "show threads" for "last 2 months" and when i click for a old page which have those thread (ie : http://www.discutere.it/forumdisplay.php?f=2&page=3 ), it redirect me to the last threads of the last 30 days

something to do in the admincp? i didn't change any options till the installation (october).... but i remember that on december it was still working (i could see topics older than 30 days)

    please help..

Try setting all forums to show all threads by running this query:

    Code:
UPDATE forum SET daysprune = -1
After running this query you need to run this counter:

Admin CP -> Import & Maintenance -> Update Counters -> Rebuild Forum Information

You probably have a table prefix set in config.php. You need to alter that query to include this prefix.

:dunno: i mean that there is still the problem...

in my user cp is set "last 30 days". ok, if i set "from the beginning" in user cp, the forum returns me all the topics, but i remember that months ago i had in my user cp "last 30 days" and when i selected in the forum "show threads" "from the beginning" i was able to see old threads. now i can't do this

i hope i've explained it clearly

Sorry but that was pretty confusing too.

Have you installed any hacks (including portals) or added any code to the footer, headinclude, header or phpinclude templates? If not, fill out a support ticket at:

It seems your forums are auto-pruning threads older than 30 days, To fix this, goto Thread & Posts > Prune in your Admin CP, and set all numbers to 0 in date options.

                        This should work.

If you are setting that in the Forum Manager, then you need to set it for each forum manually. If you edit one forum, that change will not affect the other forums.

The query will change all forums at once.
