i have a forum www.oh-twadi.com/forum
ive hacked it up with arcade and etc........
i want to upload this style http://www.theelectricuniverse.com/v...s=&styleid=178
will i have to unistall the hacks to upload it
or is there a way i can keep the hacks and edit the default skin to that skin?

If you are referring to the custom templates for the arcade... you should be able to upload any new style as a child of the style that contains your arcade templates. Then the style will inherit the arcade templates.

what im saying is that ive got a new skin and i want that skin to have the same hacks that the default skin has.do i have to re-install them? or is there a way i can edit the default skin to look exactly like the one i want

Then add the style as a child of your original hacked style.

Many templates from the original hacked style should come down. However it is possible not all will, so yes you may have to reinstall them.

Now would i be able top upload the NEW xml file and NEW images to that and still have the working hacks?

Child styles inherit the custom templates of their parent. So if you want multiple styles to have the same custom templates, then you create them as children of the parent style:

parent (contains custom templates)
- child 1
- child 2
- child 3
- etc...

All of the children will have the same custom templates.

Yes. When you change a setting in a child style, it overrides any inherited value from the parent(s).

well the hacks will work but on some skins uve gotta add the navbar link of the hacks
like store and stuff
