    sig character limit

    vBulletin version: 3.0.6

I've always had the sig character limit set to 500, which was enough for everyone. Since upgrading to 3.0.6, however, some of my forum members can no longer use their sigs that they have used all along. The character limit obviously was not an issue for them before, and now it is. Any idea why this would be happening? I'm thinking maybe this version counts vbcode tags when calculating the character limit, where it may not have in previous versions?

vB Code characters have always been counted. I don't believe there was any change to this in 3.0.6.

Strange that it never affected their sigs before now. Oh well, I'll have to increase the limit I guess.
