Mass move users from one usergroup to another

I just imported my users from phpbb2 and they are all on a custom usergroup named Imported Users.

I want to move ALL users to the "registered users" usergroup.

How can I do this? They are about 6000.... I can't do it one by one.

I suppose it can be done with an SQL query..

Can anybody help me?

Thirdly, most importers will import the usergroups or create a default import usergroup, this is so you can check the users being imported and manage them accordingly, to move users to the default "Register" group in vBulletin, delete the import group they are in.

It's worth taking the time to read through this.

I read this but could really understand it (well I understood it, but I didn't want to do any mistake which would cause me to re-import the users)

So I just have to delete the "imported users" usergroup and they will be moved to the "registered users" usergroup automaticlly?
