    Many users, one account

I have an odd question: does vBulletin allow multiple users to log in using the same user/pass from different computers?

I have a forum set up for a group in which they have four sections they're allowing their clients access to...for reading purposes only. There are 60+ people in the client's office that may need to read the forum at times.

Can I create *one* Client account and let all of them use the same user/pass (from different computers? the same network ip?)?

I know that sounds like a security breach, etc., but in this case it's a minimal issue unless there's a performance or other issue that might cause a problem with this.

    Thanks,
    Gary

      Thanks Moparx...

I edited the post as you responded and added the bit about same IPs.

Would that make a difference (I anticipate they may all come from behind the same router, thus have the same ip addresses)?

Can anyone say that it's okay (for the system) to have multiple users logging in under the same username/password/IP address?

        Thanks.

          Hey Gary (remember me? ),

username/password/IP are definitely not a problem. Also, since vital data is stored on a person's computer in form of a cookie (like last visit, session hash), it shouldn't be a problem at all. Did you try it out?
