make cookie work for entire domain ?

    Here's my situation.

    I have my forums located @ http://forums.mydomain.com

I also have some pages that access forum specific information (ie: login info) located @ http://www.mydomain.com

The problem is, the cookie is only valid under forums.mydomain.com so my pages at www.mydomain.com don't recognize the user as logged in.

Is there a way I can change this? If it involves hacking any files can you just PM the filename Thanks!

Not really. Cookies are specific to the domain. You can try keeping the cookie domain setting blank in the vBulletin Options.

The domain on which you want the cookie to have effect. If you want this to affect all of example.com rather than just forums.example.com, enter .example.com here (note the 2 dots!!!). You can leave this setting blank.
I guess I should have read the settings

looks like putting in .mydomain.com will fix it
