All the pm's in my inbox appear bold even after replying two days ago..thats one

other is forum announcements showup in acp but dont appear on forums, how come..

All the pm's in my inbox appear bold even after replying two days ago.

I once had a customer with the same problem. It turned out their server didn't have shutdown function capability. Editing the includes/init.php fixed the problem.

Change this:

define('NOSHUTDOWNFUNC', false);

...to:

define('NOSHUTDOWNFUNC', true);

other is forum announcements showup in acp but dont appear on forums, how come..

Make sure the announcements in question have start and end dates such that they are active:

Admin CP -> Announcements -> Announcement Manager -> [Edit]
