Image attchments no longer showing inline in threads

I've recently upgraded my PHP to version 4.3.10 and today changed the ini file to switch on GD2 which now comes with PHP.

Up until now, still have, ImageMagick to take care of thumbnails, etc.

In my VB CP I've changed the GD support to GD2+ and my attachments have always been set to 'show inline'. The problem I'm suddenly having is that my thumbnails aren't appearing inline in the thread - this started happening after using Impex. I've run the thumbnail rebuild - images aren't showing up for both old and new posts.

Does anyone have any idea what other settings I should be checking to get the image attachments to show up inline in forum posts?

I turned 'show image attachments inline' off and then on again and still it made no difference. Only when I closed MSIE and restarted it did my image attachments show inline :-)
