  • Attachments question

I have a subforum on my board that is only visible to two persons, via access masks. But I would like that the attachments posted there, only the attachments, could be linked on other sections of the board, so other registered members could see them. Is this possible? If yes, how?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think this is possible without modifying the code. It's easy enough to test though. Just post the attachment URL in another forum and see if it works.

I have even set the permissions of some usergroups, setting to yes the option that says something like: Allow download attachments.

But even though it doesn't seem to work.

What about the code modification you are talking about? Can you give me some lights about it please.

I have done that. Withouth much luck though, it didn't work.

This requires modifying the code. You can try asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.
