    Googlebot not seeing my posts

Googlebot visits daily but only sees everything above the posts and below the line where the archive hyperlink is.

Is there a setting that I set incorrectly?

Added: I am running version 3.0.3.

Google never had any trouble indexing my site ever since 3.0.3. No modifications needed. You just may need to be patient.

I think I need to add some more information. Google has come and visited the home page of my forum. When I view the cache as of yesterday, all I can see is the header (above any post) and the footer (below the line where the archive hyperlink is) - all of the forums with posts do not show up in the cache.

This is strange right? What would cause this? I did add two mods successfully (I think now) - the trader ratings and ushop mod.

Sorry I have no idea why, or if, Google has a problem with your site. It may be that you haven't been patient enough. It took them over 2 months befoere they started indexing my site in earnest.

          Hi Steve,

I understand that google does take time to index a site. I guess I am not explaining myself clearly. I have attached two .gifs. The normal.gif is when a visitor views my forum. And googlebot.gif is the cache of my forum. I have also run my forum using http://www.gritechnologies.com/tools...itetrading.net. This emulates what a google spider will see on a page. It appears when a spider visits my page it does not see any of my posts and doesn't even get to the archive. If the spider can't see the posts, it will never index the posts. I realize once they are crawled that it will still take time to be indexed in google but that is not my issue right now.

Is there a setting that I should look at? Or do I need some outside help to look at my forum?

          Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I realy have no idea what is going on with Google and your site. I don't know if this is abnormal, or normal. Much as I would like to help, I'm not a Google expert. All I can say is that Google does index my forums and this site with no problems.

Of course, I am assuming you allow guests to view your forums and posts. The search engines have the same permissions as guests.
