    users email addresses exposed

This is my first newbie post... I looked around for an answer to this problem but was unsucessful.

I'm just setting up the vbulletin board, upgrading from the outdated Cutecast. It's up and running (though I need to change the header and footer with my site's logo. I'm still working on that one) but I have an issue with when a user goes to 'contact info' and selects 'sends a message via email to <username>'. When this is selected vbulletin comes up with the message:
"The email address for <username> is < the person's actual email address >"

Doesn't vbulletin have an internal email server where a user can send another user an email (not a private message) and NOT expose the email address?

I don't want someone to see another user's email address.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, you just have to enable it. Set the following to Yes:

Admin CP --> vBulletin Options --> Email Options --> Use Secure Email Sending
Bugdar: PHP bug tracking software that is beautiful, fast, and robust.
