    Is there any kind of benchmarking for vB forums?

    We been fighting a nasty performance bug and it sure would be nice to have some metric against which to measure changes.

    if anyone know I'd sure appriciate it

    If you add this line to the includes/config.php file:

    Code:
    $debug = 1;
    ...then the footer of every page will contain load information that should be helpful.

      I was thinking something more along the lines of a benchmark of some sort. Maybe a timed script of some sort much like Spec.org has done with it's benchmarks for various CAD packages

        Debug mode shows you load times.

        We don't have a script for the express purpose of benchmarking.

            I think we licked it (it was in mysql)

            but it would be nice to know with a simple benchmark how it's running, could give early detection when it's going off it's feed.
