Why is my site not Gziped?

My bandwidth is getting huge.

After reading a post on this site I went to Leknor.com and took the quick test to see if my site was gziped.

I Used this test.

I was actually testing my Mambo CMS system (which the test said was gziped) then I thought to test the forums and learned it was not GZIP.

I have GZIP HTML Output set to Yes with a compression level of 1.

I looked at the Apache configuration in php_info and to the best of my Knowledge I do not have mod_gzip loaded.

Is the test faulty or am I missing something?

same here, just checked it and it is Gzipped

I'm not sure why I got a different result but I'm certainly happy that it is gzipped. I guess, I'll have to start investigating all the other ways of reducing bandwidth.

If you do a search you will find quite a few ways. best of luck.
