  • Upgrading...Performance ?

sorry if this is yet another daft question from me

( and in the wrong forum )

    I'm still running with 3.0.0.

I understand that a lot of these updates are to fix security issues.

Would I see any performance improvements if I upgraded to 3.0.6 ?

And if so, in what areas ?

    I don't run a large site ( 1000 members and on average 30/40 online ).

Must admit I'm not looking forward to upgrading. But I've got more of an incentitive if I would notice a difference in performance.

    Thanks all

I really don't know what, if any, performance improvements you will see, particularly for a forum of that size. The code has obviously been improved since version 3.0.0. I would think the bug fixes and security fixes would be enough to upgrade, but that's just me.

I believe one or two things have been changed since 3.0.0 that can speed things up a bit.
