  • Found some php errors

The include/mail.php and include/functions.php have some errors in it which result in people not being able to send emails via the forum. Might want to take a look at this. I have done all of the tweek settings in WHM and Turned the -f parameter on but I still get the same kind of emails "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender"

    should have something like:
    [code removed]

Can we see the whole message? vB just uses php's mail function, chances are its the php misconfigured rather than vB

Using SMTP is not supported at this time, while the code is in there for future versions making vB use SMPT is considering hacking, please try asking for support at vBulletin.org

If you guys don't support SMTP then why do you have it in your mail.php?

for people who want to try testing it and dont mind voiding their support, I realeased unsupported info on how to use it.

We do not support any modifications to the files, unless they are bug fixes.

This is a server configuration problem. Read this:

                  Steve,

I was also wondering about using SMTP because whenever email is send through VB3 it puts in [email protected]er as "reply-to" header. I think this is just how PHP behaves (when run as module with Apache).

Do you know a work around for this?

                  Thanks!
