Sorry I don't understand. You search for posts by someone, then you click on the links to see the complete post. What exactly are you doing?Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

This would require changing the PHP Code. Please discuss this change at vBulletin.org.Translations provided by Google.

But this used to NOT require changing the code.
When we were using version2 (and perhaps version 1), the admin panel had a different page that listed all posts per user that showed COMPLETE posts. Now, the admin panel link just points to the user front end.
Wayne,
We're using vBulletin on an educational site and we are completely frustrated. I personally wish we did not upgrade to vB3, and obviously since reversion to vB2 is impossible, we're stuck.
Is there someone I can TALK to about all our problems? I have posted here, but I feel as though no one who actually develops vBulletin is listening - or caring for that matter.
[Especially when they just ask me to go to another site, which requires creating another account.]Comment

Sorry but this always has worked the same way - ever since at least vB 2.0 Beta 3. The complete post has never been included in the search results. If you did have this at one time, it could only have been added by modifying the code.
I do believe the code modification would be a simple one. Not being a coder myself I can't offer much help though. If you want this functionality, then you can request assistance at vbulletin.org. This function does require modifying the code.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

by TheGLForumI have attempted this process dozens of times in the past, but with limited success. I want to show posts for a select number of forums. Basically, I do NOT want any posts in the OFF-TOPIC forum to appear...
