updating 3.0.3 to 3.0.5 not reconised

    updating 3.0.3 to 3.0.5 not reconised

    I installed vbulletin 3.0.5 and then i ran my old 3.0.3 backup now on the site including admin panel after update and configured everything and re-update counters it says im still using 3.0.3 and is asking me to update vbulletin to 3.0.5 what do i do?

    You need to upgrade the database by running the install/upgrade.php script.

      The files do not make the system 3.0.5. if you restored a backup over a fresh intall, you are essentilly running the backup, not the fresh install.

      You need to run the upgrade script, and then leave it be
