    Upgrading to 3.0.5 Db Error - urgent please help

    Hi
    I am in the middle of upgrading from 3.0.0 to 3.0.5

    Pretty sure I have done as per the instruction but I get the folowwing error. I am very much now in panic mode

    Are you sure you ran the upgrade script? as that error basicly means you have not.

    make sure after uploading ALL the new files you go to

    http://www.mysite.com/forum/install/upgrade.php and run all the nessary steps.

      Firstly thanks for the quick reply - calming down now

      What happens is this - I try to run the upgrade script (/install/upgrade.php) and it redirects to my admin script and asks me to login - when I try to login I get the above error

        Try reuploading the 3.0.5 admincp files and /install folder files.

            I did as you suggested and now all is fine and the upgrade is now complete.

            I had obviously done something wrong but I really dont know what.

            The only weird thing is that 'reply with quote' is now displayed as linked text rather than as a button?

            Thanks for your very quick help. Support like that makes us remember why we chose VB
