Some questions about referrals.

Hi guys, i have a few ques. abt referral system on vB3.0.3

1. Can a user send any referral email to others from anywhere on the website BESIDE going in the FAQ

2. this is the link I see in the FAQ - http://www.thalforum.com/forums/index.php?referrerid=1 now when any non-register user click on it it takes you to the forums homepage and not to the registeration page...is this normal??

I have enabled the referral system in Admin CP.

yes its normal.

you can add the link any where on the forum by editing a template (i personally put it into the USERCP template) and adding:
$vboptions[bburl]/index.php?referrerid=$bbuserinfo[userid]

now if you want the users to be able to send referal emails from your site, you can get Erwin's great hack called Refer Friend from www.vbulletin.org
