can i just keep my users/posts/etc?

i have a very hacked bored, on 3.0.0, and i want to upgrade to 3.0.5 and start from scratch.

meaning, i want to keep my users/posts/etc, but none of the other junk in my database caused by arcades/hacks/etc.

is this doable?

Sure but its the long and hard way, you will need to rebuild the seach index and a few other things but it is more than possible.,

You can use vBulletin 3's impex system, there is alot of readme and docs if you look in the vBulletin 3 Import Forum.
