I've created a new user name and given him admin powers - but for some reason he doesn't have same powers as myself. How do I fix this?

I'm new dude, so I don't really know this that well.
You must edit config.php replace X with your userid, which is 1 if you installed the board.
Then you will be able to edit and change the Administrator Permissions which are located at
AdminCP > Usergroups > Administrator Permissions.
^^ i dont really understand this
config.php through FTP? edit through a text editor? or can i edit it with the admin panel? And what do you mean replace X with userid? where is X???

Download config.php and open it i a text editor (like notepad) and then replace the X with 1.
That makes you (id=1) a Super Administrator and you can then change Administrator permissions.Comment

I have a question concerning the Admin CP access. In our forum we have 2 admins atm, but only one admin can access the full Admin CP with all the functions and settings. How is it possible...Fri 16 Sep '16, 5:10am
