Announcements not showing

I created an Announcements Folder

I can create announcements in it, and if I go into it, it shows the announcements, but on forum index it shows zero posts, and never posted in it.

There are two announcements in the Announcements folder.

What could it be? Weird.

Those are Announcements set in your AdminCP rather then they being threads in the Announcements Forum. You will have to actually post in the Announcement Forum to make an Announcement appear as an actual Thread.

So that is normal? That is weird. How can people tell there are announcements in the folder if I do it through Admincp? They have to check on the Ann. folder? Strange.

Not strange at all. Announcements are a separate entity from posts/threads. You have announcements OR threads. One cannot be the other.
