    Which method did you use... the code that Aros posted above, or the thread that I linked to in my post? If you followed my link, double-check the settings, make sure both options are set to 'No', and that you do those settings for each usergroup you want to affect.

    If you used Aros' method, you might consider reversing it and trying the method I linked to.

    This is perfect... only thing is that when you back out of a PM that had a read receipt request, you still get the read receipt prompt. Or perhaps I did something wrong?

    You're crazy.

    The sent items folder stays intact.

    Unless I am mistaken, that removes the "sent items" folder (?)

    You really didn't even need to do that. That's a lot of extra footwork for something that can be done in two seconds in the usergroup manager. See this thread.

    The code seems to have changed a bit;

    Edit the template pm_newpm and remove this:
    HTML Code:
    	else if (formname.dopreview != true)
    	{
    	<if condition="$show['trackpm']">
    		if (confirm("$vbphrase[request_receipt_for_message]"))
    		{
    			formname.receipt.value = 1;
    		}
    	</if>
    	}
    Delete this code:
    HTML Code:
    		<input type="hidden" name="receipt" value="0" />
    Search for:
    HTML Code:
    						<div><label for="cb_parseurl"><input type="checkbox" name="parseurl" value="1" id="cb_parseurl" tabindex="1" $checked[parseurl] />$vbphrase[automatically_parse_links_in_text]</label></div>
    Add Below:
    HTML Code:
    						<div><label for="cb_receipt"><input type="checkbox" name="receipt" id="cb_receipt" value="1" />Request Read Receipt?</label></div>

    I found this thread, but the code posted by Kier in this post doesn't match what I have (using 3.0.5).
    Has the feature control been integrated into the admin interface? I can't seem to find it. If it has not, what editing to the template do I need to do to make the horrible popup window go away?

    Thanks!
