How can I soft delete posts made by a user (mass soft delete) and then ban him permanently?

vBulletin Options> User Banning Options> Tachy Goes to Coventry
Then you input the user's ID. This will not soft delte but do the same thing. It will hide all posts from everyone except the admin.
TO ban permamently Goto your Admin CP and go
USERS> Ban User for the area "Lift Ban After..." set that to never.

My admins are not able to ban a user and remove all their posts. In older versions, when on a post and they clicked on "edit" and then "delete", there used to be a box that came up...Fri 14 Sep '18, 9:40am -
On VB3.8.1 (not sure if it was a VB feature or a mod, I inherited the site), when I deleted a user as a spammer and banned them, I also had the option of removing all other posts by them at the same time....Wed 15 Jun '16, 3:27am -
Choose a number of threads to permanently deletion, from the same box choose the spamming user to be permanently banned and delete all other of that users post, I get this message.
