threads with many pages

thats how it shows up.. 5 pages based on my settings.. however I'd like to have it look something like this

( Multi-page thread 1 2 3 4 5 ... 11 12 13 14 15 Last Page )

will this require a hack? It's impossible to determine how many pages a thread is once it's over a certain amount of pages.

no. not what I'm looking for. A 30 page thread looks rediculous when it shows every page.
