I haven't decided whether to implement this (if it is indeed possible) yet, but am just curious as to whether it's possible.
Can I allow guests that are logged out members (known they are members via their IP) to browse the forums, but deny guests who are unregistered members, from browsing the forums.
?
You see, I want to deny guests from browsing the forums, so that they sign up, and then hopefully contribute.
However, if I don't want signed out members (for wahtever reason they can't sign in) from being denied from browsing the forums.
This may be a case of creating a new group, and assigning the relevant permissions. But that would mean that I'd have to keep adding new member manually to this group, wouldn't it?
I need a way so that it just happens!
Thanks!
