question about init.php

I attempted to update my init.php file in my /includes directory, but when I overwrote it it removed my logo at the top of my forums and gave me an error. I am sure there is some description of how to resolve this, but I havent seen it yet. I have since put back the 3.0.3 version of the init.php until I get this resolved.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
