• Need a little help with a template

I've been very busy with installing a new template for my forum. But there are a couple of issues that I need help with because I just can't seem to find the right areas that I need to tweak in order to make this thing a done deal. Old dogs can learn new tricks, but dang it, I'm one slow old dog because I just don't get it.

Since I really don't know what section I need to modify I have to show you what I'm after using some not-so-swift photochop pics.

This is what I have currently set up for my category strips:

What I want is to add some graphics to the end of the bar like in this pic:

So they'll end up looking like this:

Now, the other problem I have is that I wanted to have the text in the navbars centered so I went into admin cp > forums & moderators > forum manager and I added
"forum name here"
to each of the heading forums names. This worked great to get the categories centered in the navbars, but when I and anyone else views the forum the header strip that used to look so nice now looks like this:

Is there a quick fix for this?

Any assistance is very appreciated. I'm not so good at doing all this and it's taken me a year to finally take the plunge and just do it. I've been making steady progress with each little step I've taken, but I hold my breath each time I click save for fear I'm going to royally screw something up. You guys who write this stuff amaze me....I think I'd pull my hair out if I had to do this every day.

P.S. Currently I'm running vB 3.0.3. I know there's a new version that just came out and I'll upgrade asap, but I have to get this done first. Uggg....

I did the same thing that you want btw. Check out my site (in my profile) to see what it looks like.
