  • blank white index page?

    Heya,

We have a problem. For some reason our forum index page has just got a blank white page.

I havent been messing with anythin the CP, and it was working earlier on.

All pages within the forum work except the index page.

I have tried reuploading the index file, but that didnt do anything.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    That's weird.

Try uploading all of the original PHP files, not just the index.php file.

Also try creating a new default style:

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Add New Style

Create a new style with no parent. Then go back to your Style Manager and click on the name of the style to view your forum with that style. See if you still have the problem.

Ah uploading all of the original php files may be a problem as you can see the forum is quite well hacked.

Come to think fo it, the problem started (afaik) when I installed osEcommerce onto the server. Do you think this could of effected it in anyway?

I just dont see how all the other pages can work, and not the default index page. Confusing the hell out of me.

edit: oh the style thing didnt work

Yes, file hacks can cause problems like this.

I didnt alter any files though. Only ran an sql file and uploaded some files to another directory (for osEcommerce).

The forum was running fine up untill I did this.

edit: I ran the sql file from phpmyadmin, not admincp in VB.

Did you try uploading a new set of files? You need to rule out that possibility.

You can backup your hacked files and restore them afterwards so you don't lose your hacks.
