  • How do I put a "new posts" link on skin?

uploaded new skin, been trying to get a view new posts link somewhere on the forum.....I'm sure it's wrong

I put the code like this <a> href="www.anabolicevolution.com/search.php?s=&action=getnew"><b>View New Posts</b></a>

What is wrong with the code? once I save it it shows it just like that

The HTML is not formed correctly, it's:

    HTML Code:
    <a href="www.anabolicevolution.com/search.php?action=getnew"><strong>View New Posts</strong></a>

The link you gave me gives me a 404 error....so I tried this
      PHP Code:
      <a href="/search.php?action=getnew"><strong>View New Posts</strong></a
then that brought me to the search forums page, but not search new posts

        I'm sorry about that; it's:

        HTML Code:
        <a href="/search.php?do=getnew"><strong>View New Posts</strong></a>
I must have not been thinking when I was posting.

          This made mine work
          Code:
          <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getnew" accesskey="2">$vbphrase[new_posts_nav]</a></td>
