  • Simple question from a novice.... "Floating the logo"

    What do I have to change in this logo code to have the logo "float" in the center of the screen at the top, so that if someone stretches the browser window, the logo stays in the center.

    THANKS

    <!-- logo -->
    <a name="top"></a>
    <table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
    <tr>
    <td align="$stylevar[left]"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php?$session[sessionurl]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>
    <td align="$stylevar[right]">
    &nbsp;
    </table>
    <!-- /logo -->

      Thanks Floris. That works great.

      Now, one more question, a little more complex.

      Is there a way to make the logo graphic area above the forum ALWAYS size itself to the size of the forum outline itself?

      I would have to guess that this must be done with 3 images, a left, right, and center, with the left and right fixed and the center flexible. I think I have seen this on some vB forums, but I am not sure how it is done.

      Is this a lot of coding, or is it something that an average person can do?

      THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

        Here is an example of 1 table row with 3 columns where the left/right are fixed widths and the middle is not fixed width. The table itself is set 100% so it will auto stretch when browsers resize.
        HTML Code:
        <table width="100%"  border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
          <tr>
        	<td width="200" align="left">left</td>
        	<td align="center">middle</td>
        	<td width="200" align="right">right</td>
          </tr>
        </table>
