How do i make a Rules Page :)

Hello and merry christmas to everyone

How can i make a page which will be in my forum structure and be as a Rules page?

    See this page for example.

Also, where can i find the text which shows when someone is going to register? I mean the disclaimer stuff which the user says: I accept or not

    Thanks a lot in advance

Xmm thanks for the second one

For the first one, what i want is to create a similar html page and put it as a link in the navbar.

I know how to do all that, the only thing i miss is how i can have in that page the same "forum structure" that i have in all my pages and not be a new html

      Thanks in advance

You might consider adding your terms & conditions to your FAQ. This makes them searchable, easy to edit via the FAQ Manager, and seems like a logical place to find them.

        Example: http://www.texasdesigner.com/forums/faq.php?

If you have a HTML editor (like FrontPage or even Word) just type into that and format the text as you wish. Then copy and paste from the HTML view. That's how I do it.

I would like to know how to do this, too. I already know how to add the link to the Nav... just dunno how to add a page using the same forum structure (I don't want it for rules, I need it for something else).

It took me about 48 hours to learn enough HTML to be able to design a simple page. It's really a no-brainer. I might suggest the book "Web Design in a Nutshell" from Amazon.com. Great book! (Has a pic of a ferret on the front).

The question of Artemis and myself is not general for html but mainly how to add a page with the same forum structure

In order to add such a page, it would have to be written in PHP (a far more complex task than HTML). In addition, you would have to include various database reads and variables. There are threads similar to your request already posted here. You might also ask over at vbulletin.org.

When you use FAQ you can limit it to usergroups and you can translate it to any language you got installed too!

I've looked for a mod hack for this, and didn't find one
I think for right now I'll just leave mine as is where I've created two (one for paypal donations and one for member linkback logos) extra html pages and linked them in a secondary Nav bar.

HTML is a breeze, I just dunno how to write php code yet lol. The more I play with vB, the more I'll learn.
