    I saw this on another site, and wanted to know how to do it.

    in the top of the forums, there is a little "welcome" message - that says like, welcome to my site, bla bla bla - how do i set that up?

    here is the example: http://www.rapforums.com/

    The guest welcome message:

    is default in each vBulletin version 3.x

    Once you are logged in you do not see it. log out of your own forum and it should be there.

      Can I make it so that it's always there and I can change the text?

        Yes, you can do that. To do so, open the FORUMHOME template and find & Delete this code:
        HTML Code:
        <if condition="$show['guest']">
        <!-- guest welcome message -->
        Now find & delete this code:
        HTML Code:
         <!-- / guest welcome message -->
        </if>
        And save the template.

        It will now show to all the members. You can modify the phrase at any time through the phrase manager. I think its the first_visit_message phrase.
