Usually when you install a style, you need to upload the XML file in your:
Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Download / Upload Styles
Then you need to FTP into your server and upload the images directory that goes with that style.

ok I think I am just installing these wrong.
could you tell me the proper way? what I am doing is uploading the folder with all the things in it.
For example I will upload a file 'newstyle' into forums so that I get .../forum/newforum/images
Ok then I browes on my pc for the .xml file. It say under that
"or give the path on your server"
in the user field there it says /install/something.xml
I leave the input box filled like it is. Is there something else I should be doing?
