Get notified via PM that moderation awaits?

Hi,

Only having a couple of users who have been placed into a usergroup who's posts require moderation, I would like to know how I can get notified via a PM (or another method?) that there are posts/threads awaiting moderation?

As they do not post often, I would not want to have to login to the admincp all the time to constantly check if there are posts/threads awaiting moderation.

I'm sure there must be an easier way to be alerted to this? (I have not found it yet )
