Approximately how long does it run before timing out?

You are probably hitting the PHP max execution time. Try changing the max_execution_time directive in your php.ini file and running the transfer again.

Did not work M8. The server kept timing out, trying this method now.

        /scripts/pkgacct <user>

        ftp the /home/cpmove-<user>.tar.gz
        to the other server
        put it in /home

        /scripts/unpkgacct <user>

The problem I have now is the package system split the files up as follows:

/home/USER/cpmove-USER-split/cpmove-USER.tar.gz.part1 all the way to part 80

Now how do I move these .tar.gz.part1 to 80 files to the other server and what do I need to do so I can re-install them?

        Regards,

        Brian

        PS:

        Trying the following:

        cat cpmove-USER.tar.gz.part1 cpmove-USER.tar.gz.part2 cpmove-USER.tar.gz.part3 etc, etc, etc to cpmove-USER.tar.gz.part80 > cpmove-USER.tar.gz

Is there a better faster way to do this?

        The file size is 7.98GB

I am out of ideas, unless you want to manually tar and transfer your site piece by piece.

WHM should have a thing to get support. You might try using that.
