  • Announcements oddity!

When I post a global announcement, the dates that display in the forums don't match with what I've set in the admin control panel. In fact, they appear to be a full day behind!

I've checked my date/time settings on the server and all is correct. Message posting timestamps are displayed correctly etc.

    Any ideas?

I believe this is because Admin CP date and time is based on GMT while the date and time you view this with on your forums is based on the specific timezone setting for your user.

Ok, that makes sense - but shouldn't it really follow whatever the default Community timezone the admin has set via "Default Time Zone Offset" ?

Please add this as a 'configurable option' feature request
