  • Moving date text on calender page

    On the calender page - each date (in monthly view) has its own cell.
    At the top left of the cell is the DAY
    at the top right of the cell is the corresponding DATE -

    how can i move the DATE over next to the DAY ?
    so it shows like this

    Sun 1
    and not like this
    Sun 1

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Calendar Templates -> calendar_monthly_day

    Find this code:

    Code:
    <div class="thead">
    	<span style="float:$stylevar[right]">
    		<if condition="$show['daylink']">
    			<a href="calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getinfo&amp;day=$year-$month-$day&amp;c=$calendarid">$day</a>
    		<else />
    			$day
    		</if>
    	</span>
    	$dayname
    </div>
    And replace it with this code:

    Code:
    <div class="thead">
    	<span>
    		$dayname
    		<if condition="$show['daylink']">
    			<a href="calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getinfo&amp;day=$year-$month-$day&amp;c=$calendarid">$day</a>
    		<else />
    			$day
    		</if>
    	</span>
    </div>
    Then edit this template:

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Calendar Templates -> calendar_monthly_day_other

    Use this code for that template:

    Code:
    <td height="50" width="$daywidth" style="padding:0px">
    	<div class="thead">
    		<span>$otherdayname$dayname
    		$otherday$day</span>
    	</div>
    	&nbsp;
    </td>

      there must be something missing in the step there partner
      above you describe to alter two sections but
      as i see in step one, i need to edit
      Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Calendar Templates -> calendar_monthly_day

      then in step two you ask me to goto
      Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Calendar Templates -> calendar_monthly_day

      for another edit - but these two places are the same location

      either way - i went through the process but look what it does to my calender dates............

      in one week i have
      Sun - Mon-Mon-Tues-Tues-Wed-Wed-Fri-Sat-Sat
      HAHA I wish there were that many days in a week - then id actually get things done
      ideas?

        This might help the issue:Heres the code for that template currently
        ---------------------------------------

        <if condition="$show['highlighttoday']">
        <td class="alt1" height="50" width="$daywidth" style="padding:0px">
        <else />
        <td class="alt2" height="50" width="$daywidth" style="padding:0px">
        </if>
        <div class="thead">
        <span>
        $dayname
        <if condition="$show['daylink']">
        <a href="calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getinfo&amp;day=$year-$month-$day&amp;c=$calendarid">$day</a>
        <else />
        $day
        </if>
        </span>
        </div>
        <div style="padding:$stylevar[cellpadding]px">
        <if condition="$show['birthdaylink']">
        <div class="smallfont" style="margin-bottom:$stylevar[cellpadding]px; padding-bottom:2px; border-bottom:1px dotted">
        <!--<strong>&raquo;</strong>--> <em><a href="calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getinfo&amp;day=$year-$month-$day&amp;c=$calendarid" title="$birthdaydesc"><phrase 1="$bdaycount">$vbphrase[x_birthdays]</phrase></a></em>
        </div>
        <else />
        $userbdays
        </if>
        <if condition="$show['eventlink']">
        <div class="smallfont" style="margin-bottom:$stylevar[cellpadding]px; padding-bottom:2px; border-bottom:dotted 1px">
        <if condition="$show['subscribed']">
        <img class="inlineimg" src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/subscribed_event.gif" alt="$vbphrase[event_notification]" />
        <else />
        <!--<strong>&raquo;</strong>-->
        </if>
        <em><a href="calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getinfo&amp;day=$year-$month-$day&amp;c=$calendarid" title="$eventdesc">$vbphrase[events]</a> ($eventtotal)</em>
        </div>
        <else />
        $userevents
        </if>
        </div>
        <td height="50" width="$daywidth" style="padding:0px">
        <div class="thead">
        <span>$otherdayname$dayname
        $otherday$day</span>
        </div>
        &nbsp;
        </td></td>
        -----------------------------

        i think theres something wrong on line #19 because this action appears twice in the total code
        do=getinfo&amp;day=$year-$month-$day&amp
        but its only needed once for the template

          Fixed. The second template was supposed to be calendar_monthly_day_other.
