  • mysql error 1020

I am getting the following error and it's increasing

    Database error in vBulletin 3.0.3:
    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT *
    FROM eq2_session
    WHERE sessionhash

    mysql error number: 1020
the wierd part is the "from eq2_session"

My first attemp at loading VB I named my file eq2, instead of 'forum'

I have since removed those files, reinstalled and designed my site. When I reinstalled VB I made sure to clear the data base.

    Any idea what I broke?

the board in question is located here

Actually I'm not sure that link necessarily applies.

What is the complete error message, including script info? And where are you getting this? Often 'Invalid SQL' errors come from modifying the vB files when you install hacks. Have you installed any hacks?

        I did search...

        Database error in vBulletin 3.0.3:

        Invalid SQL:

        SELECT *

        FROM eq2_session

        WHERE sessionhash = 'c36c1c9929e34831904f23d446dcfe4a'

        AND lastactivity > 1099879804

        AND host = '24.21.66.85'

        AND idhash = 'fd91feb78965f1441ecc55a4a676fd96'

mysql error: Record has changed since last read in table 'eq2_session'

        mysql error number: 1020

that is the most recent error... we are getting this when clicking on a forum link, doesn't seem to be a specific forum link...

I have CMPS installed and the calendar/images

the one thing that is odd is that I shouldn't be using the "eq2_" part... I removed that board...

Are you sure you aren't using table prefixes? What does your config.php file show for prefixes?

please bare with me, very new to php... just an html, flash hobbist here...

ok here is what I have atm...

// Prefix that your vBulletin tables have in the database.
            // For example: $tableprefix = 'vb3_';
            $tableprefix = 'eq2_';
I have an idea what to change this to but not for sure, could use some help just to be sure

This means that you have set up your vB to use 'eq2_' as the prefix in from of all vB table3. Is this not the case?

now that you have pointed me to the problem this is what's going on...

yes, my original load or VB set up was eq2_

                but

I made some mistakes and had to remove that board and start from scratch..

                the new one uses guildforum_

I somehow re-used my original config which still had eq2_

if I change the config to the current -> guildforum_

                will that fix my problem?

If all your vB tables are now using the 'guildform_' prefix, then changing this in config.php should fix this problem.

do I need to change each one of the "WHERE title IN"

                        or the database

or maybe just change the folder on my server to eq2_?

                        ?

Run this script to restore your datastore table:
