  • How to delete Username under Thread ?

    How can I delete the Username under a thread ? Basically it's the person who started the thread, but I don't like it.

    How can I remove this feature ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Also, how can I stop members from viewing the members list ?

      That would be the thread author. If you wish to remove this, open the threadbit template and find and remove:

      HTML Code:
      			<if condition="$show['guestuser']">
      				$thread[postusername]
      			<else />
      				<span style="cursor:pointer" onclick="window.open('member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$thread[postuserid]')">$thread[postusername]</span>
      			</if>
      As far as the members' list, just delete the file and that would prevent people from viewing it.

          You can set permissions for being able to view the member list IIRC.

            To do that you'd need to place a conditional inside memberlist template, something along those lines:

            PHP Code:
            <if condition="in_array($bbuserinfo['usergroupid'],array(5,6))">
            // memberlist stuff
            <else />
            // error message
            </if>
            This will display the memberlist only to usergroups 5 and 6.

              Yeah, that's indeed what I did per an earlier thread I'd posted on this subject. Worked perfectly.
